Certificate of Authority (CoA)

I am pleased to announce that Hacken was recently granted a license to practice engineering by APEGM. Hacken’s certificate number is 7628.

Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba has approximately 8500 registered members. See APEGM’s searchable list of professional members and licensed companies.

Manitoba’s CoA is similar to Alberta’s Permit to Practice.

Exclusive Scope of Practice of Engineering

In the province of Manitoba, engineering can only be practiced with a license from APEGM. This is covered in Manitoba’s Engineering and Geoscientific Professions Act.

Responsible Member

Hacken is a sole practitioner entity in Manitoba, and I am the Professional Engineer responsible for the practice of software engineering.
